LikeDo uses a credit-based system for AI-powered features. Important: Basic features like creating links, QR codes, temporary emails, and file uploads are completely FREE and do not consume credits.

What Are Credits?

Credits are the currency used within LikeDo to access AI-powered features. They allow you to:

• Use AI chat assistant
• Generate content with AI
• Auto-complete link parameters
• Create AI-powered emails
• Translate and rewrite posts
• And other AI-enhanced features

Basic features that DON'T require credits:

1. Plan-Based Credits

When you subscribe to a plan, you receive credits:

Notes:

• Unused credits roll over and accumulate
• Pro yearly subscribers still get 1,000 credits monthly
• Lifetime plan includes bonus credits on special occasions

2. Referral Credits

Earn credits by inviting friends:

Referral Limits:

• No limit on total referrals
• Maximum 20 invitations per day
• Email verification required
• Credits awarded within 24 hours

3. Credit Packages

Credits expire based on their source:

Free Plan Credits:

• Expire after 365 days

Paid Plan Credits:

• Expire after 3650 days (10 years)

Referral Credits:

• Free tier: 365 days
• Paid tier: 3650 days

Purchased Credit Packages:

• Basic: 30 days
• Standard: 90 days
• Premium: 180 days
• Enterprise: 180 days

Lifetime Plan Credits:

• Never expire

Expiration Order: Credits are consumed in this priority:

1. Credits expiring soonest first
2. Promotional credits
3. Purchased package credits
4. Referral credits
5. Plan credits

Credit Usage Tips

1. Optimize Your Credit Spend

Be Strategic:

• Use basic links instead of premium features when possible
• Batch operations to avoid duplicate costs
• Delete unused links/files to free up resources

Example: Instead of creating 10 individual links with QR codes (20 credits), create them first (10 credits), then generate QR codes only for the ones you actually use.

2. Monitor Your Usage

Set up alerts:

• Get notified when balance drops below 100 credits
• Weekly usage summaries
• Expiration warnings (30 days before)

3. Take Advantage of Referrals

The referral program is a free way to earn credits:

• Share your referral link on social media
• Invite team members
• Include in email signature
• Write tutorials and include referral link

Example: Referring 10 friends = 500 credits = equivalent to 2 Standard packages ($13.80 value)

4. Choose the Right Plan

If you use:

• < 100 credits/month → Free plan + occasional packages
• 100-500 credits/month → Pro Monthly
• 500-1000 credits/month → Pro Yearly (save 17%)
• Heavy user → Lifetime plan

Credit packages offer better value at higher tiers:

• Standard: $0.0086 per credit (9% savings)

Credit Refund Policy

When Credits Are Refunded

Credits are automatically refunded when:

• A link is deleted within 24 hours of creation
• A file upload fails
• An operation errors out
• A feature fails to deliver

When Credits Are NOT Refunded

Credits are not refunded for:

• Links/files created successfully but unused
• Expired credits
• Account violations/bans
• User error (wrong URL, duplicate creation)

Requesting a Manual Refund

If you believe credits were charged incorrectly:

1. Go to Settings → Credits → Usage History
2. Find the transaction
3. Click "Report Issue"
4. Describe the problem
5. Support will review within 24 hours

Credit Security

Protecting Your Credits

Best Practices:

• Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
• Use strong, unique password
• Don't share account credentials
• Monitor usage regularly
• Set up alerts for unusual activity

Suspicious Activity

If you notice unexpected credit usage:

1. Change your password immediately
2. Check Usage History for unauthorized operations
3. Review Active Sessions and log out unknown devices

5. Enable 2FA if not already active

API Key Security

If you use API keys:

• Store securely (environment variables, not in code)
• Rotate keys regularly

Frequently Asked Questions

Do unused credits roll over?

Yes! Unused credits roll over each month as long as they haven't expired based on their source (plan, package, referral, etc.).

Can I transfer credits to another account?

No, credits are non-transferable between accounts.

What happens to my credits if I downgrade my plan?

You keep all existing credits, but monthly credit grants will change to match your new plan.

Can I get a refund for purchased credit packages?

Credit packages are non-refundable once purchased, except in cases of technical errors.

Do credits expire if I cancel my subscription?

Credits don't disappear, but their expiration dates remain unchanged. Free plan credits expire after 365 days, paid plan credits after 3650 days.

Can I buy credits for someone else?

Not directly, but you can send them a referral link so they both receive credits when they sign up.

Is there a way to get free credits regularly?

Yes, through the referral program. Each verified referral earns you 50 credits.

What happens when I run out of credits?

You'll receive warnings when balance is low. When you reach 0, you'll need to purchase credits or upgrade your plan to continue using paid features. Free features may still be available.

Can I see my credit history?

Yes, go to Settings → Credits → Usage History to see all credit transactions (earned and spent).

Are there enterprise plans with unlimited credits?
